Audrey Allen, an 18-month old child, was killed by Joshua Allen Kruzik.
The baby was killed because she cried in the middle of the night. Joshua Allen Kruzik, an US marine, a friend of Audrey Allen’s parents, was invited to spend weekends at their friends’ home. Before he came to their home, he was at a local bar where he drank much alcohol. He had to care about the little girl, when she cried. But Joshua Allen Kruzik beat the baby too brutally. As a result, the little girl got a lot of serious head injuries. She died at a local hospital.
David Kohn, the defense attorney for Joshua Allen Kruzik, noted that steroids were responsible for the abnormal behavior of his client. It was said that the killer administered anabolic steroids. Before the incident he tried to discontinue administering these preparations but he was not capable to do it. David Kohn affirmed that anabolic steroids caused “roid rage” in Joshua Allen Kruzik. He couldn’t not control his behavior and beat the little child. According to the defense attorney, his client was unconscious. However he said that Kruzik was ready to assume the entire responsibility, he added that he was not guilty.
The little child’s parents also said that Kruzik took anabolic steroids. The mother of the child said that she had syringes at her home. So, she injected Kruzik with steroids, when he came. Some other persons also confirmed that he administered steroids.
It is strange that anabolic steroids are blamed in this situation. Are these medications responsible for the murder? Take in consideration that Joshua Allen Kruzik has been drunk, when he has murdered the baby!
It is unclear whether the juries will accept the steroid excuse.
