ESPN2 journalist: Derek Jeter administers prohibited preparations

The sports journalist Skip Bayless accuses the baseball player Derek Jeter of steroid use. He has pronounced his thoughts of criticism during the talk show “First take”.
Actually, Skip Bayless doesn’t have any evidence in order to suggest that Derek Jeter takes prohibited medicines. Despites this fact, the statements of the journalist have been spread. Before accusing Derek Jeter of doping, the sports journalist began to criticize anti-doping system of the MLB. He claimed that the MLB’s tests for performance-enhancing drugs are not good enough to detect those that take forbidden products.
The journalist Skip Bayless reminded Victor Conte’s point of view linked with testosterone:epitestosterone ratio test that is used in the MLB. This method is not sophisticated enough to catch those that use banned drugs. Instead of this method, it is necessary to utilize another. Carbon isotope ratio is more suitable.
The journalist Skip Bayless also stated that the MLB didn’t have any testing for HGH. The test for this product is performed in the MLB only once per year. But blood tests for this medicine should be performed more times during year. Otherwise, players may take this product and remain undetectable.
So, the journalist suggests that Derek Jeter applies HGH and banned products. The ESPN2 journalist also claims that if he were a baseball player, he would use HGH.

It is quite obvious that the steroid era in baseball has not ended. Professional baseball players use different forbidden preparations and remain undetectable. But no one can accuse an athlete of doping, basing only on improper drug testing. It is important to focus on facts, accusing an athlete of usage of banned drugs. Otherwise, any suspicion doesn’t have any value.
