Steroids, health and new laws in the UK

Laws related to anabolic steroids are going to be altered in the UK. The Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs (ACMD) offered certain recommendations to the government of the UK. According to these recommendations, possession and intake of these preparations remain to be legal as earlier. But the amendments relate to importation of these drugs and orders per internet. This activity is going to be illegal.
The government of the UK has agreed with almost all new recommendations of the ACMD. Here we observe the way of influences of the government on mentality of steroids users. The faculty chairman of the Royal General Practitioners confirms that the changes related to importation of anabolic steroids are good ways in order to modify attitudes of consumers to these drugs. He confirms that if the new law banned anabolic steroids completely, it could cause only opposition of users. According to the words of the faculty chairman of the Royal General Practitioners, it is an effective way to have proper influences upon sportsmen that use anabolic steroids and to give them necessary information about links between these medicines and their health. This law can make users to worry about their real needs to do something for eluding of undesirable results caused by administration of anabolic steroids.
The government of the UK realizes that these products can influence on people’s health negatively that’s why it desires to adopt any laws which may help users to see the reality.
But it is important to note that the faculty chairman of the Royal General Practitioners, Dr. Lawson, had to observe the all nuances related to the new law. There is a risk that the law will not benefit. One could ask: “Which is the risk?” Let see the situation that was earlier. Athletes could get anabolic steroids ,using internet. Importation of anabolic steroids was not banned. So, consumers got steroids of good quality.
According to the new law, bodybuilders must not get steroids per internet. How will they buy these preparations? There is another way of getting these medicines. But this way is unsafe. As you know, there are underground labs which manufacture these products. Unluckily, they produce counterfeit anabolic steroids. As a result of this new law, consumers will administrate counterfeit steroids which can harm a lot. Will this new law benefit?
