Every fan of Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos and every fan of Ronda Rousey wanted to hear an open respond of Santos to her positives for the anabolic steroid Winstrol. Finally the female mixed martial artist Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos responded publicly. She pronounced a speech that was presented by MMAPrime.tv. The female fighter spoke in Portuguese. She said that steroids were horrible. She confirmed that she would have never applied them intentionally.
Cyborg Santos tested positive for Winstrol during the Strikeforce: Melendez vs Masvidal in San Diego in December 2011. She claimed that she had never utilized anabolic steroids knowingly. This female fighter confirmed that she had administered a weight loss agent that had been given by a member of her camp.
Santos Cyborg said that she hadn’t known that the product was a steroid. She claimed that it had been her mistake that she had trusted that person.
Santos tried to prove that persons that called her a cheater were mistaken. The mixed martial artist noticed that the only her mistake was to take a compound which could help her to lose weight.
As a result, the mixed martial artist was sentenced to a ban of 12 months by the California State Athletic Commission. She forfeited her Strikeforce Women’s Championship title.
Santos’ appeal linked with her ban was scheduled on April 9, 2012.
After Santos tested positive for the anabolic steroid Winstrol, Ronda Rousey affirmed that she always supposed that Santos Cyborg utilized steroids because her muscular physique displayed it. Ronda noted that every person knew that Santos had used steroids. Ronda Rousey added that nobody should be allowed to take prohibited substances in order to win. Ronda pointed out that it was a great thing that Santos had been caught.
