Which quotes from Laraque’s book related to his autobiography were published by the press?

Georges Laraque described his life in a book “The story of the NHL’s unlikeliest tough guy”. The author desired to tell about his biography to others. Georges Laraque noticed also about administration of anabolic steroids in the National Hockey League (NHL). These aspects about intake of steroids by the NHL’s players seemed to be too interesting. The Canadian press published just the quotes linked with this eternal subject. The rest of the book was ignored.
Georges Laraque claimed in an interview that he had never utilized performance-enhancing drugs. Furthermore, he said that he hadn’t mentioned any names of the athletes that had used steroids. The book is indeed about life of the author.
George Laraque notices about certain ways to determine whether a hockey player applies steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs or not. Here are 2 ways described by him:
1. A hockey player who gains more than 40 pounds in a short period of time must be administrating performance-enhancing drugs.
2. A hockey player that reduces his weight essentially in short period of time in order to correspond to the rules of the Winter Olympics must be taking steroids.
Undoubtedly, all athletes, including hockey players, know that they will be tested for steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs by the WADA. That’s why they cease using the forbidden medicines certain time before the Olympics. It helps them to prevent risk of testing positive for these medicines.
But this is not the chief idea of the book. George Laraque desired to show that a child is required to put many efforts to become an excellent professional sportsperson in spite of racial intolerance and reviling. But the press doesn’t pay attention on this aspect. The press wants to publish stories related to intake of steroids by athletes.
George Laraque didn’t have a goal to name the hockey players that utilized steroids.
Undoubtedly, the media asks the author to mention the names of the NHL’s players that use steroids.
